SIAP.

The Mayans are set to ride again.

Sons of Anarchy creator Kurt Sutter is prepping a potential spinoff to his long-running FX biker drama, which wrapped with record ratings in late 2014. Though it’s still early in the development process, the follow-up will center on the Mayans Motorcycle Club, which played a key role in the original.

For the time being, Sutter, who graces the current cover of The Hollywood Reporter, is keeping mum on details, so questions remain about the time period and the potential for Sons' stars to return.

For one reason or another, many on this board never cared for SoA.. but for the fans on this board (myself included) I figured it'd be interesting. I always enjoyed the Mayans, never really liked how they faded from the club's main adversary.

Thought they were going to make a prequel with the original crew (JT and Clay)?

No telling, I heard rumors of this but in the form of a Movie.

Now rumors of Mayan spin-off.

Either way, I'm a big fan of SoA and Kurt Sutter, so count me in.

Black and Yellow are not going to be happy about Brown getting its own series.

I don't think since has been completely ruled out, since (from what I read) the original plan was to make it a miniseries.

Either way, I'd watch a series on The Mayans. There were so many great characters in Sutter's universe that we only got to get small taste of so, as bad as I'd like to see a continuation of The Sons with Chibbs and Tig in charge and the aftermath of the series finale, I could definitely get behind this show.

I bet Marcus is going to have to make some tough decisions with unlikely allies that may effect the club.

To what end? Why make a spin off of a crappy show about what amounts to nothing more than low rent white trash?

I think you meant to post this in the Better Call Saul thread?

I am interested to see if it's Mayans focused before, during, or after the events of SoA.

I couldn't stand Breaking Bad, either. Hated it.

I'd rather get the IRA or the Cartel than the Mayans.

Just because you don't like it doesn't mean the show was crappy, the amount of people following that show had and the money those actors were paid speaks for itself.

This is really all I want, don't care if it a series or a movie. I feel like a miniseries 10-12 episodes about their lives from the moment they met til the immediate aftermath of JT's death would be fricking badass

I don't think I'd care much for this rumored spinoff

Will it involve high speed chases and drive bys down a major road during rush hour, mass murder in broad daylight, them double crossing every gang in the U.S and abroad and sweet arse music montages?

If so..Count me in.
