Saw "Saving Mr. Banks" on Monday and there was a trailer for "Son of God" which is basically "The Bible" compiled into a movie. Is there anything that is going to be different in this movie than what was already on TV or is this just a ploy to make more money from this TV Miniseries.

The film will feature selections of the miniseries as well as deleted scenes not featured during the telecast.

Hopefully there will be a significant amount of new material to justify a film release.

The amount of straight up religious trailers before Saving Mr. Banks was really weird. And Son of God looked like Passion of the Christ with a little more backstory/action. Very strange.

It's just the Jesus scenes basically.

I tried not to laugh when they ended the trailer with Jesus saying, "I am coming soon."
I was hoping he'd continue with, "...in Imax and 3D."
