The lock nominations are:

Hopkins - best actor

Jeffrey Wright - best actor

(one might possibly be put in Supporting category to maximize chances of winning)

Regardless both gave some of the best acting, film or TV I've seen in a long, long time. I'd give the slight edge to Hopkins because Ford is quite simply one of the most terrifying, complex villains ever. Plus he's just an incredible actor.

Westworld - Best Drama series

Nolan - Best Writing, probably episode 9.

Evan Rachel Wood - Best Actress

Although I grew very tired of her constant state of confusion and constant crying, she'll easily get a nomination.

More Than likely to be Nominated:

Thandi Newton - Best supporting actress

Possibly Nominated:

Ed Harris - Best supporting actor

Jimmy Simpson - Best supporting actor

This category will be slammed with all the other shows on, I wish Harris would get a nomination but it will be a long shot, but he is a big name and played a very good character so who knows.

Idk, but one thing I keep thinking about is the lavish praise Hopkins gave to Brian Cranston for Breaking Bad. I wonder if that played a role in his decision to do this and believe he could give a quality performance in a TV show and be taken seriously.

Wouldn't Hopkins be Supporting? I think he and Harris get nominated for Best Supporting, with Hopkins likely winning. The rest I agree with you, although I think Newton is questionable.

I think Hopkins could go best actor or best supporting. But the reason I say best actor is because... yes, his screen time was some what limited, but his character and his on screen presence made him feel like the biggest, most important character in the show (which ultimately he was).

Think Brando in the Godfather... Won best actor even though he had about half the screen time as Pacino.

Newtons I feel will get a nomination because she gave some good performances down th stretch, plus that supporting actress category is sometime kind of thin.

If Hopkins doesn't win for best actor it will be highway robbery.

I thought Thandi Newton was great. She kept your attention on her in every scene she was in.

No Thrones at the Emmys this year, so more slot open and far greater chances of winning.
