SNL Season Finale with Fred Armisen last night

That might've been the best show since Timberlake hosted a few years back. Armisen has always been a funny, quirky dude. Tuned in last night and thought it was hilarious. The Mr. Bunting sketch is one of the funniest things I've seen on SNL in a long time. The new gf sketch was great as well.

I only saw weekend update before going to bed and I didn't care for the Hillary Clinton dick sucking but some of their banned jokes were funny

I know that they try to go for star-power when scheduling their hosts but, for quality's sake, they may want to go back to their "Buck Henry" scheduling plan that they had for Seasons 2 through 5.
They had Buck Henry as their season ending host each year because he was so low maintenance, wasn't promoting anything, and didn't require skits to be tailored to his skill set.
Samberg hosted the final show two years ago and it was great. They might want to just have a former cast member return to host the final show each year.
Something else that helped... They didn't have Armisen doing all of his old characters. It was all fresh stuff.

Great episode that started with a terrible monologue that sounded like it had a laugh track. The dead poets skit was so out of left field.
