It's a nature/ historical documentary series that provides aerial tours over landscapes and landmarks while profiling one state/area wth historical narration.

Anyone else love this series ?
I think it's exceedingly well done.

I love that show. A couple of the Mississippi farm flyovers are of some of the land we farm. Had to do a double take the first time I saw it.

eta: Pretty much everything on Smithsonian is worth watching

I love it. Some days when they run different states all day long, I leave it on. I've seen 25-30 of them over the last year watching like that.

They sure seem to focus a bit too much time on some of the man made blemishes.

I didn't tune in to the Texas and Louisiana episodes to see flyovers of chemical plants.
