My kids would watch "Date My Mom" occasionally. It had to be an Emmy winner for "unintentional Comedy".

The second half of the season was just getting running when they decided to cancel it. For shame.

Sounds familiar...

I really liked Almost Human as well. Urban and Ely had great chemistry and the show had a cool mythos building behind the scenes. The second half of the season was just getting running when they decided to cancel it. For shame.

That and Sarah Conner Chronicles. Fox loves to screw around with sci-fi fans.

Don't bite my head off here, but I think people gloss over this show because of the present day accomplishments of its cast. Its nothing special, it just happened to have a cast that went on to do a lot of other things.

Its not a bad show, and its quite possible that it could have gotten better as it went on. But it's not as great as people make it out to be.

I agree. I've only watched the 1st 2 episodes but I really don't have much desire to go back for more. I don't know how it was when it was originally broadcast, but trying to watch it now and seeing the comedy all star team behind it, I guess I just expect funny and it's more like the Wonder Years, more of a Dramedy about kids in school 20+ years ago.

Thats pretty much spot on. Its worth the watch, its on Netflix. It's pretty unique in the fact that pretty much every single cast member went on to bigger things.

Jericho is always the first one to come to mind for me in these threads.

Flash Forward was a good one too.

Sorry but you're full of shite.

F&G had some of the most original takes on typical highschool story lines. They eshewed the easy plots and wrote great "real" episodes about kids in a more real world environment.

Plus, Haverchuck RULES.

a good little show. probably less than "amah-zing" but i liked it.

my marcus dupree of a sitcom was always "the powers that be". great premise and good writing and had stars before they were stars (fran drescher, david hyde pierce etc). maybe lasted six episodes.
