Should we be talking more about what is going on in Dorne? (Game of Thrones)

I mean, how does it work for an illegitimate woman to somehow be ruler of that land?
Plus, why the hell does she blame the Lannisters for Oberyn's death when he volunteered to be in that fight?
I assume one of her daughters is next in line?

No they didn't. She's not in anyway realted to the Martells. Elia Martell (Rhaegar's wife) was the sister of Oberyn. She's just the lover of Oberyn. And of those 3 girls only one of them is hers, the other 2 from Oberyn's past affairs.
In Dorne women are seen as equal to men but she really doesn't have any prior political or military experience so I don't get why they follow her.

The whole point of the first episde of last season was so that we would be talking LESS about Dorne. Which is totally fine with me, they could completely ignore it for the rest of the show and be better for it.
Only other option I would've given them for Dorne was to find away to send some dornish men to Assai and connect from there. Dorne would still suck but it would atleast give us a glimpse into a world that GRRM has no intention of letting people see in the novels

The lack of focus on Dorne is in part a casualty of having so many storylines in limited 1 hr. format, television. The writers and production team in general have done a remarkable job considering this limitation and the source material they had to work with.
What stands out more for me is the lack of retribution for Myrcella's murder. Instead of sending Jaime to recapture Riverwood, they should be taking a combined Lannister/Tyrell army to kick the shite out of Dorne.
