That's how I am also, I have see them to the finish regardless if the quality goes down or not (Sons of Anarhy) although my wife and still get a few laughs from Big Bang

Still watch and agree with this. Is it just me or has the laugh track gotten worse? I find that's why I enjoy modern family more. It doesn't tell me when or if I should laugh.

I'll start watching again if Sheldon turns into a stone cold pimp afterwards ala Stephan Urkell. Like the rest of the season he parties and hits up titty bars.

It's gotten worse. The last two seasons have been unwatchably bad. It started out as a mediocre show that was reasonably enjoyable as background noise. It was a compromise show with my SO. Now, I avoid watching it with her because it's so bad. Raj went from akward to gay to being gay but having a gf. Leonard went from being wimpy but likeable to being completely spineless and miserable. Walowitz is now completely neutered. Penny is not nearly as hot anymore and now is just bitchy and mean instead of sweet. Same thing goes for Bernadette. She's a raging psychobitch now.
The only consistent, and therefor "good", characters left are Sheldon and Amy.

I've been a lifelong watcher, I haven't really given a crap what detractors thought and still couldn't care less. But lately, I've been like, man this is bad writing. But hey, good for them. Rest on your laurels and make that money.

Has the writing ever been "good"? This show is for the masses and isn't supposed to be breaking bad, but from what I've seen (and I've seen most of the early seasons) it's been pretty consistent.

The second and third seasons were pretty decent, actually. It wasn't high-brow stuff, but it was a decent comedy you could watch and just turn your brain off. It has consistently declined ever since. I think the writers just didn't know how to write for the Leslie Winkel character who was really interesting.

I love the show. I have seen every episode. The first couple episodes this season was very bad.

The wedding episode was the worst episode of the show. And that saddens me that Penny and Leonard finally tie the knot, and the episode shits the bed.
