Or is he unintentionally funny?
He makes me laugh out loud. Was this intentionally done by the writers to have some humor in him being so pissed off all the time?
I mean he's such a badass that it's hard to imagine someone being that mad and zero bullshite ALL THE TIME.

I found a lot of Dexter to be unintentional funny. The show doesn't hold up very well, IMO.

Obviously Vince Masuka was meant to be funny and he was. I enjoyed his character.
Batista was a likable character but man sometimes as an actor he was awful.

I think the combo of being 10 years old and filmed in Miami give it a cheesy vibe that is hard to recover from.
