Season 2 narcos

Season 2 of narcos will return to Netflix in August and the episodes will be slower this time (timeline wise) since they covered most of it. Can't wait I love the first season

As I watched Season 1 play out I started wondering if they had made a huge mistake playing through that much time in 1 season.
Not good for the ole profit motive.

I thought they might go back and cover previous periods of time but show the story from different characters / perspectives.

I heard one of the creators say they want to keep moving forward eventually showing how the Mexican Cartels took over.

I think it was a good idea to name it Narcos rather than the Pablo Escobar story, or something along those lines. They could create quite a number of seasons since it's just on narcotics and how some cartel's rose to power. How long until we see El Chapo, you think? Season 4, maybe?

Not sure how I feel about this.
On one hand, I'm happy they are going to slow down. They went way too fast with the Escobar story.
But on the other, I don't want them to spend a whole season on the last part of Escobar's life. I also don't want to see the show get too heavy into politics.

I kind of wanted to see more of his rise and making tons of money as well, but looking back, that could have gotten old pretty quickly (reference the Blow montage that was perfectly paced).
