Let me take an educated guess here. If I really didn't give a shite about Tolkien's books when I was younger, and I became bored shitless with Jackson's LOTR movie trilogy, I would probably do well just to skip The Hobbit, amirite?
Bump for the weekday crews.
Id almost tell everybody who asks should they see a movie I liked even if they were hesitant, to go see it. But if you were THAT bored with the LOTR series, I don't see you being very interested in this. Tolkien is one of my three favorite authors of all time, but in no way am I a Tolkien/LOTR nerd, I can't explain all the worlds and serious back stories. I ljust oved this book as a kid (still do), and like the Silmarilion/LOTR stuff now that I'm older. It's nice to have some good interpretations of my favorite books. So I'd like to tell you to go see it but it sounds like you wouldn't enjoy it.
