frick you.

Batman got three great movies that nailed down the character so well.

Superman deserves three well done movies that nail down why he's one of the best ideas humanity has ever had and something we all should aspire to be.

You know who else deserves a three well done movies that nail down why he's the best Super Hero?

Wait for it

Did you guess yet?

Exactly. You could easily have a well thought out Superman trilogy. Why they decided to throw BvS together so quickly and make it the MoS sequel is beyond me.

15 Actors Who Can Replace Ben Affleck

Most of these are unfunny but I'm down with #15 and #13.

If WB really wanted to reboot the DC universe, imo, Jon Favreau would be the perfect choice to helm it starting with a Superman reboot. He was the one who got it all started for Marvel. I think he would get Superman right based on the way he handled the Iron Man story. And what he did with the Jungle Book showed he can handle the epic look and scale of Superman. The look and the casting of Iron Man was perfect, and it really set the tone for the MCU.

Most of those are terrible.

I guess I'm in the minority, but I really need Batman to ACTUALLY be physically dominating. An actor that's going to be 6'3"+ and tower over people both in costume and out as Bruce Wayne. It bad enough that Cavil is not really tall (though he looks the part) but Batman really has to be big I think. That's why I was on board with Affleck from the get-go. For once, they got the physical size right...though I was never on board with going older right off the bat.

Think Thor. Whatever you may think of Hemsworth as an actor (I think he's more than capable in that role FWIW) there's no denying the fricking guy IS Thor.

Bats needs to be BIG and TALL.

Before they went older, I was on board with who they had tapped for the first Justice League movie that was going to be shot in Australia a few years ago...Armie Hammer. He'd need to go on the Henry Cavill diet and work out routine, but at 6'5" he has the size and look.

Yep...they're great together. Was hoping for a sequel there but I doubt that will happen since it wasn't much of a hit.

But I was rooting for Hammer before they went with the whole Dark Knight Returns angle of having him be the elder statesmen of the group. Without a complete rehaul of the entire DCEU you almost have to cast in around the same age as Affleck if you want to keep that stoy line, so Hammer would be out.

Of course, I've always advocated doing a few stand along Batman movies as one offs that don;t tie into any continuity of universe, so he could work for that. Say Hammer at Bruce in Gotham by Gaslight maybe?

Plus..."WHY DID YOU SAY THAT NAME?!?!?!?!?"

DCEU needs to stop, and take a break. Let the people from the Gotham show grow into their roles a little more and then spinoff a batman series from those characters. It would be a shame to waste the Riddler and Joker characters from that show, as they have been absolute money. I don't really care too much for the kid Bruce, but I like the Alfred, Gordon, and Falcone renditions as well.
