What a strange, vulgar, slightly disturbing movie.
Surely, Seth Rogen and co. were high as a kite when they developed this thing.

Honestly it should have been a 10 minute short. Would have been the funniest ever. I found the trailer to be funnier than the whole movie, since they ruin the punchline about what food is really for long before they're all massacred.

One of the worst movies I've ever seen. The song near the beginning was modestly amusing, but the movie quickly turned to complete shite. Seth Rogen pretty much sucks.

I thought it was hilarious. Really vulgar, but funny because of it. I also saw it at movie tavern after a few beers so maybe I wouldn't like it as much the second time

This should have been my entry in that disappointing movie thread.
I mean, I figured it would have Seth Rogan-type humor (which can be good at times) and I thought the previews were hilarious so I had high hopes going into the movie.
But the movie was terrible, the plot was not what I expected and for the worse, and it was unnecessarily vulgar.
Don't get me wrong. Vulgar comedy has it's place for me, but the whole movie was vulgar for no other reason than being vulgar.

I was sick of that crew by the time this came out so I never bothered to watch it. Sounds like I made the right decision.

The concept was good and could have been fun but instead they decided to beat their audience over the head with "religion is false". If that wasn't enough they far overdid the vulgarity and it was solely for the sake of being vulgar.
Overall the movie made me think Seth and his buddies sat around -stoned as frick- and wrote this movie just to prove they could put out any pile of shite and people would be stupid enough to pay for it.
And they were right.

Not necessarily 10 minutes, but not a full length movie. There were parts that I found as funny as anything ever put to screen. But it just dragged and went in the wrong direction overall.

Got to take a tour of Sony pictures for my company and we went in and saw Seth and company editing this before it came out. Sandler was there too. Not sure why

I really liked it..besides the ending. I thought it was refreshing to see a vulgar, comedic cartoon. Not sure why everyone is so disappointed in it. It is exactly what I expected from Seth Rogan.
