Oh! Master Robin! You've been horribly maimed in battle! You lost your arms!

But you grew some nice boobs.

Sad attempt by a once great comic mind.

His earlier failed tv effort "when things were rotten" was actually more inventive.

You're right, and a lot was rehashed. It was, however, miles ahead of Dracula: Dead and Loving It.

The first Mel Brooks movie that didn't make me laugh. There was a lot of talent involved. It just didn't work.

Faigeleh?

If you can watch that entire movie and not laugh once you have problems.

I understand if it isn't your favorite Brooks film, he's made some of the funniest movies ever, but if you don't laugh at all once through the entire movie you have problems.

What the frick? People actually didn't like this movie? It's comedy fricking gold. There are more memorable scenes and gags in it than almost every comedy of the past twenty years. It's as quotable as Lebowski, Old School and other similar comedy gems.

It's no Blazing Saddles, but it's probably my second favorite Brooks movie. It is a classic. Yes, I rank it ahead of the Producers, History of the World, Space Balls and Young Frankenstein. It's that fricking funny.

I would maybe put it ahead of a the Producers, but none of the others you listed. My brothers, growing up, watched this movie constantly, almost as much as Spaceballs which was our favorite movie. Men in Tights is only middle of the pack because Mel Brooks is a master.

I know you don't care, but just in case you're curious, you and I could never be friends.

Btw, my buddy's wife is cousins with Mark Blankfield (Blinkin). She got us autographed pictures from him last year. He always writes random, nonsensical quotes on his pictures. It's hilarious. It's like he tries to be serious and whatnot, but it's basically just rambling jibberish.

I don't care but I rank this one behind Blazin Saddles.

"saw it coming from a mile away."

Maid Marian: I shall marry you.
Sheriff of Rottingham: What? You'll be mine? You'll give yourself to me every night? And sometimes, right after lunch?
Maid Marian: Yes, but only my body. You can never have my heart, my mind, or my soul!
Sheriff of Rottingham: Oh, oh yes! I can respect that. Mmm Hmm

Ha ha, saw this movie today when channel surfing. Oh course I had to watch, have not seen this one in a while.
Favorite part was the battle for the toll bridge with the ending of the knuckle busters and little John drowning....
