So many of the men Band of Brothers was based on are gone now. How many can be left?

Yep...looking at this, Shames is still alive, along with one Junior officer Ed Pepping. Other than that...all of Easy Company is gone.

Watching Band of Brothers always makes me feel insufficient. Those men had something to be truly proud of.

Just edited to add him. Oddly enough, he has a Wikipedia page that comes up in the Netherlands version, rather than the US version.

Don was a great man. The wwii museum does a tour to Europe that follows the path of easy company. Seems really cool.

It sucks that these great men sacrificed for the shite show that we live in today where a bunch of ungrateful people disrespect this country on a regular basis.

Just finished watching BOB for the third time and I have a great appreciation for the efforts and accomplishments of that generation.

May he rest in peace.
