Anyone else just really like this series like me? I've watched House of Cards, Breaking Bad, and most of SOA. I still just think this series is better overall and I think the only equal is Breaking Bad as it might actually be better but not by much

The only reason I like the Walking Dead is it, for the first time on video, shows the real struggle of a man, group, nation in a zombie apocalypse. No movie has ever come close to approaching the amount of levels of survival and conflict that occur on a regular day in that world.

Think about all the pressure and problems that you have to deal with other than the zombies.

For that reason it is a good show. Other than that I don't consider it anything other than an exploration of society during those times.

That is true, it does drag on at times but it's necassary. It's not going to be action all the time every episode I think they do A very good job at setting things up. I'll be disappointed when season 7 ends knowing that is the last season (they announced that)

You must have a lot of free time. Are you a OT balling plant operator?

I'm in college...I watched it the first 3 times in High school. I usually watch the series over during season breaks like now

I thought they announced they wanted to do 12 seasons? Or was that before they announced the spin-off series?

They probably know when they'll be running out of source material from the comics and want to do their own thing with the spinoff after that.

The show does a decent job of paying tribute to Night of the Living Dead but IMO The Walking Dead is just not that good. After about the dozenth time people separated and randomly met back up in zombie apocalypse, I lost interest.

TWD is nowhere near the same level as the other shows you mentioned

Show went from new and different to repetitive real damn quick

It's pretty damn terrible now and I defended the hell out of the show for a good 3 years

It is repetitive at times but like I said it has to be at times. I mean what the hell really goes on everyday during a zombie apocalypse besides killing zombies and surviving? Lol
