Anyone checked out this war documentary on Netflix? Watched it the other day and I have to say its the best war documentary I've ever seen. Korengal Valley is absolutely nuts.

OF ALL TIME?? unless you have a special love of war, I'd say there are definitely better documentaries out there.

Restrepo was really good, and very powerful. I've heard Armadillo is also very very good, but more "cinematic." I haven't seen it yet though.

Heard about this from a group of GI's who had just rotated back here from Iraq. They said it was the real deal and the "The Hurt Locker" was a piece of shite. Sounds like I need to rent this one.

To "The Hurt Locker's" defense, it wasn't a documentary like Restrepo is.

ha, they say you should never see a movie that's about what you do for a living. You'll spend the whole time nitpicking all the inaccurate details and won't be able to sit and actually enjoy the movie.
