Apparently the list is trimming down from 2500 actors...google it yourself.

Would any know actor (the short list includes Dave Franco and Miles Teller) really want this part?aside from money and exposure.

Creatively speaking, I mean. If cast, you're essentially doing a Harrison Ford impression and will be unfairly criticized either way.

Yes, Ewan replaced Alec, but he had far more screen time, and is seen as a bright spot in the prequels. With Han Solo, you're replacing the biggest Star in the whole series.

Anyone see this differently, creatively speaking? The money and exposure are given reasons to take the role.

Is this for the stand along Han Solo anthology film that is supposed to come out in 2018?

Yes, it will be tough to replace him, but fans will come to terms with it. We just watched Age of Adeline last week, and the actor that played the young version of Harrison's older character did a really good job. I could see him fitting as a young Han.

Anthony Ingruber. I think he could definitely do it.

Way too old for the part.

Donald Glover might work though.

The only answer is the most charismatic young actor of our generation:

Shia Leboof.

If it doesn't go to Jaden Smith then there is no god.

River Phoenix would also be acceptable.

If the guy wouldn't have fallen off the face of the Earth, Josh Hartnett. Even favors a young Harrison Ford.
