Saw a couple of old threads on this but nothing new

Anyone watched this recently? I binge watched season 1 yesterday and today and enjoyed it. It's nothing ground breaking, but i thought it was entertaining and kept my attention.

Gonna watch season 2 soon. How does it compare to season 1?

I binged both seasons in about a week, and I thoroughly enjoyed each of them; didn't notice any sort of "drop off" in quality from S01 to S02. My high school years were '86 - '90 though, so my opinion is admittedly biased...

I preferred season 1, but they were both entertaining. Looks like there's going to be 1 more season.

Came across it one night on Amazon Prime and decided to give it a try. Loved it and mowed through all the episodes and realized it was SEASON TWO! I was so pissed haha. I just thought we were supposed to assume the relationships that were shown were predetermined. I then binge watched all of Season one the next day. Just treated it like a prequel and it actually wasn't that bad haha.

I think it's a great show with great character development. The relationship between David and Skye's dad is hilarious to me. David just wears the animosity and goes on about his day. I read they are only going to do one more season which sucks.

Nash cracks me up and love that Misty shows her boom boombs in season 1.

and then never again.....they get my hopes up with the Nudity warning at the beginning of some of the episodes and it just ends up being the side of Wheeler's arse.

Season 2 is really good i almost like it better than season 1. Its a great coming of age type of show and some of the side stories make for great tv.

I find i really enjoy the scene's with David's father. divorced, sick and lonely but he really has some great scenes.

I'll definitely watch it.

I think people who were around in the eighties (like me) will appreciate the show more than those who weren't.

I tell people that it's sort of a cross between Caddyshack (a guy movie) and Dirty Dancing (a chick flick) and that makes it a show that adult couples can enjoy together.

Glad some other people liked it as well.

Can't wait to see what season 2 has to offer. It's a shame the episodes are only ~24 minutes. I wish they were longer. I guess that's the appeal of the show

I came across it a few months ago and watched both seasons in a week or so. It was a very comfy show to watch and am looking forward to season 3. Also I feel like I missed out on a lot of fun by not working at a country club if it is anything like Caddyshack or Red Oaks

I binged it a few months ago and it went by way too quick. Really enjoyable show. The actor that plays David is in a movie on Netflix will Paul Rudd called The Fundamentals of Caring which I would highly recommend as well.

I loved season 1 and thought season 2 was still pretty good.

It got renewed for a 3rd and final season to air this fall, was hoping it would get to 4 or 5 seasons but oh well.

I thought it was a good show. The first season was really funny & good. The second season was not as good imo, but still funny.

One of my favorite shows out there really. I don't know why. It's actually, objectively not great. There is plenty about it to scoff at. But the characters are so endearing, the actors playing them so easy in their skins, that the show is infinitely watchable. The scenes with David and his dad are gold. As are those with David and Getty, who Riser plays just perfectly.
