Recommendations for Netflix shows
Posted by Street Hawk on 6/6/15 at 9:05 am00
I have seen the big ones - OITNB and House of Cards. But I am seeing more and more Netflix original shows popping up. Can you recommend other good Netflix originals worth checking out?

Peaky Blinders is my favorite.

Daredevil was pretty good if you like the superhero genre.

I agree. If you like superhero genre but want a more adult take on it... Give Daredevil a try

I enjoyed Peaky Blinders, Marco Polo and Lilleyhammer. Just started Daredevil and so far so good.

Daredevil was a lot of fun and I look forward to the second season as long as they stay grounded in realism, I don't want it to become a SUPERhero show, I'm happy with just a hero show. I don't want fake super powered villains, they work in comic books but don't translate to film very well (in my opinion).
Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt was good but not great, it felt like a mix between 30 Rock and Blast from the Past. Not really my cup of tea but I get why some people loved it.
I just started watching Sense8. I can't recommend it yet, but the first episode was interesting enough that I'll watch the second. I like the premise but I'm not crazy about the writing.
I've heard good things about Marco Polo but after watching one episode I was done with it. It just didn't have anything for me.

You liked the ending?

I mean the last scene is to set something up for the next season so I don't really count that as being part of the first season. Not sure how the second season will be but I loved the first so I'm hopeful.
