Re-watched Annie Hall last night for the first time in a while

Man, that has to be one of the best example of "intelligent", dry humor. His facial expressions are so perfect- the eye rolls, winces, etc. So many good lines too. One of my favorites: when his second wife refuses to have sex and he gets out of bed. She asks where he's going and he replies "to take another in a series of cold showers." Not to mention the constant fear of anti-semitism.
Also, it's blatantly obvious where the George Costanza/Larry David character came from.

My favorite scene is when they show Alvy on the couch and the Psychiatrist asks him how often do you guys have sex. He responds. "Hardly ever, two or three times a week." Then they show Annie on the same couch and the Psychiatrist asks her the same question and she responds. "All the time, two or three times a week."

Yes, and possibly one of the greatest scenes in film history: LINK .

Yeah I love that one. "Don't you wish you could do that in real life?"
Also, obviously, the coke scene.

It's a great movie, I know some people say it hasn't aged well, but I think it captures the 70's very well.

Is it this or Manhattan where they show him as a kid in the beginning?

"It just didn't hit me on a gut level."
"I'd like to hit this guy on a gut level".
I love Woody Allen movies.

its just really a true masterpiece. I think its timeless actually.
I still laugh every time I think about the lobster behind the fridge :"maybe if I put a little dish of butter sauce here with a nutcracker it'll run out the other side"
