yes i know its a random twosome, but wife and i are almost done with Peaky season 3 and will have the slate cleared until Mr Robot comes out. these are two shows we always wanted to watch but never got around to it.

1. which would you prefer if had to pick one?

Haven't seen Donovan but Deadwood is one of my favorites. But it's very character and dialogue driven. Not to say that there are no action scenes but there are long stretches where the intensity is built through dialogue and scheming. If your gf is easily bored I would not recommend.

Deadwood is one of the absolutely greatest things ever committed to film. Unfortunately it will leave you with blueballs because it got abruptly canceled without wrapping up its story. Had it been granted a proper ending it might've been the GOAT.
Love Ray Donovan too. I think it's the best show on TV right now besides Game of Thrones.

She won't enjoy deadwood because she is a chick, it's a man film about cunnt! Ray Donovan isn't my cup of tea but probably your best bet.
