rate the mad max films

The original drags for a long period in the middle. Great start, fantastic climax, but its a bit of a slog. Fury Road is one of the best action movies ever made, though. I used to say the final reel of Road Warrior is the best car chase ever, and then Fury Road is that car chase for 100 minutes.

Road Warrior is my favorite followed closely by Fury Road.

This… The Road Warrior is the best pure action movie ever made and invented an entire genre and style.

I do like Thunderdome more than most too, but the whole kid thing really brings it down.

The original as others have stated is basically 25 min or so of great and an hour of mediocre, but it was a low budget B movie so I kind of give it a pass.

Fury Road is good, but with no Mel it has to be down on the list.

I wasn't a fan of the original.

Road Warrior was fun.

Thunderdome was fun but also a bit silly.

Fury Road was great up until the implausible ridiculous horrible ending. I couldn't come up with a more fairytale bullshite ending if I tried. Those ladies would be in for a rough rest of their life in reality.

Even though I liked Mad Max less than Fury, I'll still rank Fury LAST for the horrible ending. Also, 100 percent nonsensical that the religious fanatic mid game switches sides. Lots of great action but horrible plot and Hell, fairly pointless to even call it Mad Max. Should have just been Fury Road without Max in it.
