Bored and thought a random movie trivia thread would be interesting.
Ewan McGregor, who played Obi-Wan Kenobi in the Star Wars prequels, is the nephew of Denis Lawson, who played Wedge Antilles in the original trilogy.

In the movie The Big Chill a group of friends gather for a friend's funeral. The cast consists of the best of the up and coming actors at the time it was filmed. The dead friend is never seen on screen. However originally there were flashback scenes and the dead friend was Kevin Costner. Costner thought because he had been edited out of the movie he had missed out on his big chance to make a name for himself.
