Questions the dumb sheriff of Wayward Pines should be asking himself. *spoilers*

How is it possible to grow all this food for all these people inside this town full of residences? Who manufactures the medicines? Who refines the gasoline?
If this is the year 4028 how did all these 2014 model year cars and trucks last so long? Were they also cryogenically frozen?
Could ALL of this have really been built with the sales proceeds of a best seller?
I guess I could go on, but unless the town is still in the 21st century with a functioning economy outside of it, none of it makes much logistical sense.
If Dr. Pilcher didn't foresee a rebellion then where did all the replacement houses and cars and trucks come from after they were destroyed?
