Question about the Chris Lilley Universe

How are his main characters perceived physically by the other characters in their universe. Does Ja'mie look to them exactly as she appears to us? Are we to 'imagine' that she's ACTUALLY a 17 year old hot chick, and not some middle aged dude in drag...Is Jonah supposed to look aboriginal?

nah.. I think they perceive her as a rich bitch who thinks she's hot but is only average. Either way they don't look at her and see a man
