Anyone else seen this little gem? (Searched, no luck except maybe THRILLHO) I mean there are films that go for it, and then there are films that go for it over and over and over again. It was nuts, but I feel like it all made sense in the end, even though at every point I was saying, "No, that can't be what they're doing..... yup that's what they are doing." 
Really enjoyed the film, and Sarah Snook did give a heck of a performance.

it was a good little film. really wish i hadnt read the short story its based on before watching it. they kept it pretty much the exact same, so i knew most of what would happen.
sucks it didnt make any money. sony bought the rights (it was shot in australia) and really didnt do much with it.

I also dug the atmosphere. The narration gave it a nice pseudo-noir feel, and the presentation wasn't overly complicated. They kept it simple in all time periods, which was a good choice. No fancy graphics or special effects either.

Looked fairly cheap to shoot though, I'd hope it was at least slightly profitable. That movie wouldn't have played well wide anyways most likely. Which stinks.

Loved it, but I had managed to totally forget that it existed until this thread. When I saw it I was sure that it was going to be a big cult classic, but it has remained fairly unknown. I don't believe it even got a run on HBO or Showtime, etc... I need to give it a second watch.

Where'd you find it? I just checked Netflix and Amazon to no avail. Can't even rent it on amazon.
