This footage is absolutely amazing!!!! I just finished the first episode. Does anyone have any knowledge of what cameras or drones they use.

Amazon fire stick. I am finishing the third one now.

After each episode they show how they film some of the episode. It's pretty wild

If you use Google Chrome, download the Hola extension and set your location to England. Then go to the BBC iPlayer and stream every episode.

yeah the snow leopards feature was great. they have been able to get a lot of great shots by setting up motion censored cameras.

I think my favorite two were the golden eagles and the penguin island. Life is a penguin is rough

It's on Kodi I know that.
I am going to wait to watch it through something that will give me at least 1080P, even though Kodi says that I still don't feel the colors are as vibrant as they should be, and I can't adjust my tv settings when in Kodi.

Same here. 1080 streaming has the resolution, but is more compressed compared to say an actual Bluray disk movie. The compressed video usually looses some of the sharp edges in the process. Netflix 1080 streams usually contains about 10-15Mbit/s of data whereas a Bluray will have up to 40Mbit/s. Now, Blurays don't look 2.5x better but there are certainly differences.

i know they shot this in UHD, but bbc doesn't have a way to stream it in anything other than 1080p. i'll wait until the UHD dvd's are released, or someone like netflix has the UHD content.

Just a reminder bump. The UHD 4K Blu ray is out. Think it actually came out end of March, but I forgot about it and saw it af Best Buy yesterday for $39 I think. It's amazing, and made me love my 4K tv even more.

I rarely purchase blurays anymore, but this was so worth it. Highly recommend.

Are you not using the Pied Piper middle out compression app for perfect steaming of massive compressed data files?
