WOW! What an episode. Everyone dropped like flies. Please tell me this is all a simulation from The Machine. Also awesome speech from Harold during the interrogation scene

Oh yea and Frick CBS for cancelling this show.

Awesome episode.

It sucks the show is ending, but I guess they figure let it go out on top rather than string it out for years and let it die a slow death.

One of the best shows on that no one ever talks about. Great show for sure.

I seriously doubt it was a simulation. I figured they'd kill some of the main cast off (although I didn't think it would happen this soon with 3 episodes left) and Root was the most likely one (Elias isn't really a main character). I have a feeling either Finch or John will die before the show finishes out.

Helluva episode. Loved the way the audience was kinda forced to accept even more emotional impact regarding what transpired because the character(s) involved could not.

I have a feeling they will all die. Root talking at the beginning of episode 1 of this season was really the machine. And I think it's talking to the new "Reese" after the original team has died. My guess is it's the Samaritan operative that shot Root last night (finally turning to the good side).

I'm waiting for the last season to end so I can binge it.

Awesome action scenes, and it really has had a fantastic story arch that really makes you think.

Yeah I believe that Reese or Shaw will be the last ones to die. This show seriously could've been a movie and I'd definitely watch it.

Spoilers

Root dying but the Machine deciding to make Root's voice it's voice was really well done. Once u heard Root's voice on the phone u knew she was a goner.

I don't think they all die. Reese is definitely a goner, and probably Finch. I could see Shaw making it since she was already captured for almost a season. I kind of hope Fusco makes it. The arc that character took since the beginning of the show has been awesome. If anyone deserves to make it out alive, it's him.

I definitely think Fusco makes it out and I totally agree with your comment on his character.

I've enjoyed watching the "Batman" parallels throughout the series, although I can't place Shaw and Greer.

Reese (the "Man in the Suit") - Batman
Finch - a Bruce Wayne / Alfred mashup
Root - Batgirl / Oracle (good fighters, each with a disability)
Carter - Commissioner Gordon
Fusco - Harvey Bullock
Zoe - Catwoman
Elias - (more of a "Superman" character - Lex Luthor)
"Control" - Amanda Waller
The subway hideout - the Batcave
The Machine - the Batcomputer
Bear - Ace the Bathound :)
The messages on public telephones - the Batsignal

What's he going to do now that he's pissed? Is he finally going to let The Machine do whatever it wants?

You're right. This is show is fantastic and don't think it ever really got the love it deserved.

As much as I loved Root's character it makes sense for her to die and even more sense for The Machine to take her voice. Seems like it really picks up even more next week with the President being the next POI. I can't wait to see how they wrap it up. Sucks this show is ending!

I would have liked to seen Paige Turco's character make an appearance in the last season, thought she had great chemistry with Reese.

This will be a series I will definitely re-watch one day.

What was the opinions in here on Taraji's character on the show? Stark contrast from what she does now

I liked her character and the Commissioner Gordon comparison is pretty spot on.
