taking my 7-year old daughter to see it this afternoon. while i enjoyed the 'madagascar' movies, i don't really have any urge to revisit them again & again....on the other hand, i admit the 'penguins of madagascar' TV show is a guilty pleasure, and i've LOL'd often at skipper's smarty-pants dialogue... here's hoping for more of the same...

This. I don't care for anything else in those movies except for them. I will probably watch it once it's on video.

It's a kids movie that will by default make a ton of cash, even though it looks pretty average to me. Hollywood is so very powerful in that respect.

of course it's a kids movie, but according to some of the reviews i've read, there's plenty of gags that kids will laugh at for what's on the surface, but grown-ups will also laugh at for the deeper meaning....
