Was greenlit in 2014 but then was in limbo for a while. They have a director and are moving forward.

Pacific Rim 2 will be directed by Daredevil's head writer

My only complaint with the original is that we didn't get any sex scenes with Mako. Hope the new film fixes that problem.

I hope it's better than the first one.

Cool, but I liked del toro directing. I don't know anything about this guy.

I agree. I loved seeing it in the theaters and it was awesome for what it was, but it wasn't that great a movie.

I don't think anyone has delusions of grandeur. It was a pretty bad film. Fun, great action sequences, and it's giant f-ing monsters fighting giant f-ing robots. So it worked in that sense. It was rather empty, But I loved the heck out of it.

It was exactly what I wanted when I saw it. I just wanted to see some mindless action in the movie theater. I got my action, a few laughs, and a Saturday afternoon pleasantly wasted. I'll hope for the same from this.

Freaux, you just get me.

I wanted to see a movie about monsters fighting robots. That's what I got. It's that simple.

You think wrong. That movie was fricking amazing. I personally think it should be our new national anthem and we should all take off our hats and watch it reverently before sporting events.
