Solid list of Best Picture nominees this year.

Sing Street got totally hosed on a Best Song nomination.

Cool to see Mel Gibson get a nomination.

Hollywood is going to have a huge hard-on for La La Land during the ceremony.

I'm obsessed with La La Land. Probably give the soundtrack a listen once a day since I've seen the movie.

I think Zootopia is the only movie I've seen out of all of those listed.

The biggest snubs I see are Tower for Best Documentary and The Handmaiden for Best Foreign Film.

Some snubs being thrown around are Amy Adams and Tom Hanks.

Just about...just looking at this decade: 2010, 2012, 2014, 2015, 2017. She isn't overrated, but the Academy nominating her all the damn time really does a disservice.

14 nominations for LLL, which is tied for most ever.

Record for wins is 11 which has happened 3 times.

Still think John Goodman has been robbed for not even being nominated for 10 Cloverfield Lane.

This not winning Best Doc would be worse than Goodfellas losting to Dances With Wolves.

Betting the folks at the Academy were overjoyed that there were worthy multi-racial performances and films this year.

It would've looked terrible if they'd had to scramble and give Key and Peele a nomination for Keanu.

Moonlight or La La Land will win Best Picture.

Casey Affleck got the Golden Globe for Best Actor (in a Drama). I wouldn't be surprised to see him get the Oscar for the same category.
