i'm actually excited for this remake.

btw

hey freauxzen,

is there any way i could get a list from your TD thread top 100 movies that don't suck 2000's edition and the ones that just missed the cut..

if maybe you still have this list saved somewhere. i searched for the thread, but cannot find it. it's as if it's been removed. i have found all the other years except it. if you could e-mail me the list to cajunomics@gmail.com i would be so very thankful.

sorry didn't know where else to contact you, just saw this was the most recent thread you started.

I think it's going to be alot like the "Let the Right On In" remake. It's going to be good, but not nearly on the same level as the original. They'll keep alot of the disturbing stuff, but leave out some of it.

Wait, what? Thought for sure Lost in Translation would have made the Top 20 for that decade, but the prequels made the list and that movie didn't?

Apparently.

I was surprised to see Castaway not make the top 100. Even moreso for Finding Nemo, District 9 (and maybe 40-YOV).

That list is extraordinarily Nolan-top-heavy (not that it's a bad thing, but it sticks out).

It's always timing on these things, The Nolan love was high at that point. If we did that again, I think we still get those Nolan movies in there, but I would assume more than a few would drop significantly.

Cocomo has you covered.

May I ask why? I've always wanted to do more with them, but I'm probably not enough of a statistician to do anything really fun.

Oldboy is a damned good movie. This remake is doomed from the start, IMNSHO.
