Anyone go check it out yet? These movies are a guilty pleasure of mine I went and saw it last night and enjoyed it. Much better than On Stranger Tides. Left it open for a final installment according to rumors if box office success is there. The post credit scene was cool too.

I agree it was way better than On Stranger Tides, but that's about it. I think Gore Verbinski handled the franchise better.

I enjoy them

How would you rank 2,3, and 5?

Also, my 8 year old wants to see it with me. You think it's ok? I let her watch most stuff. Lol

Are Will and Elizabeth part of the story? I saw an article this morning that said they added scenes with Knightly after test screenings.

Yes they are in the story. I won't give it away though.

I thought it was a really good movie.

Cool, thanks. I'll definitely go check it out then. I was a bit blah on 3 and 4 but I do like the series.

1. Curse of the Black Pearl
2. Dead Man's Chest

3. At World's End

4. Dead Men Tell No Tales

5. On Stranger Tides

There's one slightly dirty joke in there, but she can handle it. She may not even realize it's dirty. It's Disney. Other kids were in the theater

I liked it a lot. I think my expectations were very low going into it because of the last one.

But I thought all the actors did a great job.

Javier Bardem was a lot better than Blackbeard as the villain.

The joke was hilarious lol had some solid humor. I thought it was better than 3 because of the pacing. Although, now that I think about it, the British asked that witch to come with them and then she disappeared lol what happened there???

Great movie. The best since the original. End the franchise here though.

For the record, I didn't think On Stranger Tides was bad at all. It was much better than the previous two.

The final scene after the end credits was quite surprise.

It's not going to be the end. They said the cliff hanger is for 1 more movie.

No I believe that is up in the air. With the amount of money these films make, I wouldn't be surprised in the least that they keep making these films indefinitely. Plus, it seems weird to introduce Henry Turner and Corina Smyth to only have them in one film. It's just that everything in this one wrapped up so nicely much like the original film.

If they have more films, the cast is getting a bit too large. Does Will Turner and Elizabeth plus Corina and Henry help Jack next time? You have to figure they'll find some way to bring back Barbosa too.

You're probably right. I think it has done well so far. Henry and Corina weren't bad at all. I had a strong feeling she was somehow connected to one of the major characters. Pretty cool reveal.

SPOILER

And yeah. Didn't Barbossa already come back once? He will make a return
