Who is this new hacker? I knew the instant he gave the CD to that idiot of a boyfriend, it was a hack.

Tonights episode showed eliot going deeper into madness and paranoia.

LOVE It

Yeah, it's looking more and more like Mr Robot is Elliot's alter-ego.

Ya the fact the preview shows Mr Robot being at his job, and the girl knowing where he lived and asking him why she wouldn't know that pretty much let's us know its one of his personalities.
That said, this episode was riveting and didn't fall off from last week.

I tend to agree with all of this. I just watched the pilot and episode 2 back to back and both were really good, much better than I expected it to be. Slater might be one of my under rated actors of all time. He is a great dead pan sense of humor/arrogant piece of shite in just about everything he does and he doesn't disappoint in this one either.

After this episdoe. to USA. I am shocked at how much I enjoy this show, and it looks to be getting even better. The second episode was even better, and I say that simply because it gave more twists, and now I am not sure what to expect, whereas the first episode was pretty intro and mostly predictable.

Yeah. For a second I thought it might be a moment where Elliot feels sympathy , and holds off labeling any particular person, at least if he was questioning why the guy had so much self-hate.

Yeah, and especially seeing the previews for next week where he's in his office chair in his full Mr. Robot jacket. And frick, someone in this comment section mentioned what i was afraid. Just that he's his dead father, Idk about the Tyler Durden reference.

LINK

quote:

The number 13 occurs throughout episode one. Number of texts from Angela, number of Years previous owner owned Fun Society, number of dollars Evil Corp loses in an hour of downtime and the infected server is CS31 which is 13 reversed.

I’m going to say something that will either be seen as interesting or bullshite.

Mr. Robot is Elliots dead father and not real, he’s like Elliot’s, Tyler Durdan.

No one ever speaks directly to Christian Slater. When Elliot shows up at fsociety, the doorman doesn’t even look at Christian Slaters character. Lastly, Elliot doesn’t recoil away from Mr. Robots touch when he’s rubbing his should before he ‘pushes’ him off the pier.

Discuss.

Possible. Another topic I haven't really seen discussed is that Eliot just attempted suicide on the pier. After his talk with the drug dealer and after discussing about how his father thought he let him down (to potentially his father), I think its possible that he tried to kill himself by jumping off that pier

Right. Assuming that the Cristian Slater character is in fact just a figment of his imagination. I am basically assuming he is at this point, and so I do think he tried to commit suicide.

It's pretty obvious he tried to commit suicide and the mr robot dude is a figment of his imagination.
