How in the world did this script get green lighted? One of the worst movies I've seen in years. Cartoonish, undeveloped characters. Stupid plot. Awful acting. Ho Hum special effects. Stupid plot. One of the lamest romance angles I've ever seen. Boring.

Surprise reveal at the end was a huge who gives a crap? How much did Morgan Freeman and Woody Harrelson get paid for mailing in those acting jobs? Did I mention stupid plot?

Stop being overly critical, it was entertaining.

LOL heck yeah. Couple hours of my life I can't get back. Trying to spare others the same misery.

Wife insists on watching it. I'm squirming to hold back bout 20 minutes in trying to hold back criticizing it cause I'm figuring she likes it.

After that abortion is finally over she says "Well that was stupid"

Not really. And I've never hated anyone as much as I hated Jesse Eisenberg's character in this movie. Isla Fisher was pretty terrible as well.

After I saw The Social Network I didn't think Jesse Eisenberg could play another role that would make me want to punch him in the face so much. Then I watched Now You See Me.

Well each to his own that's for sure. I can't think of a single entertaining thing in it and I don't think I'm being overly critical. I think every criticism I brought up is valid.

I mean when she's floating around in a soap bubble in the theatre I wanted to bust out laughing at how bad that scene was. Flinging playing cards from the stage and slicing things way back in the audience like ninja darts? OMG Jeezuz.

Uncuffing yourself from two chained table bound cuffs and instantly switching them and cuffing the investigator in the interrogation room? Yeah those things were entertaining in the sense I was laughing at how unbelievably awful those scenes were.

I'm pretty sure most would disagree with your review considering how much money it made and they have now green lit a sequal I believe.

I give it a 5.5/10. It seemed very rushed.

Loved that movie. Very well cast and acted which made it funny and enjoyable.

With any other cast it would have been total shite, but I've watched it a few times at it remains funny and entertaining and well done.

I'm 100% with the OP. Godawful film. I couldn't believe all the talented people involved made such garbage.

I didn't think it was some great cinematic accomplishment, but I thought it was alright. It seemed really rushed, but I didn't think it was a piece of crap either. Then again, I wasn't expecting it to be anything other than a quick, cheap, flashy diversion.

It's a movie bro. Cars can't transform into robots either. And superheroes aren't real.
