He is awesome on Mike Tyson Mysteries. The role of a drunk, womanizing pigeon with a gambling problem is tailor made for Norm.

They've cut a lot of really good programs before they could hit their stride.

This is a really good story told by Jim Bruer about Norm MacDonald dealing with Chris Kattan.

It was probably antics like this that lead to his firing.

I couldn't make it through the moth joke in one sitting. Laughing so hard I almost vomited.

Any night that Norm went on Letterman and talked about Bob Uecker was gold.

Norm is the man.

i thought the roast he was on a couple years ago was a little underrated. Forgot who they were roasting.

eta: it was Bog Saget

Greg Giraldo... has the grace of a swan, the wisdom of an owl, the eye of an eagle, ladies and gentlemen this man is for the birds!

Jim Bruer on Norm getting kicked out of the state of Iowa: LINK

Seriously, there are so many comedians that just light up when they hear about a Norm story. The guy may be the most highly regarded non-mainstream comedian in the industry.

Non-verbals are 80% of communication, and Letterman's rigid posture and casual voice says it all. I'm sorry you can't admit that your hero is a narcissist.

Well now, that's a silly post.

Seriously. That show always had me laughing so hard that my face would hurt.

I loved the segments when they'd send his terribly socially awkward nephew out to events to do interviews.
