I love how he realizes she has strong force powers and then decides to leave her alone simply tied up w/ two guard flunkies to make sure she doesn't escape. That is Dr. Evil level incompetence right there but Force Awakens wasn't supposed to be a comedy.

Order 66 scene was botched.

The book made it clear that the Trade wars were used to scatter the jedi throughout the galaxy so they could be picked off one by one when Order 66 was issued.

Movie didn't do that. It clears up quite a bit when its explained that way but that was too simple for Lucas to do.

I thought the movie did that quite well

Well, Kylo Ren is going to have to eventually leave Rey's side. He's got to take a dump or sleep sometime. Don't know what else he would do. Maybe one of his Knights of Ren could guard her (and we don't ever see them save for the flashbacks), but that's about it.

Ehh, I think the movie conveyed it. They said that the Jedi were spread throughout the Galaxy and then they showed about 8 of them getting killed. I actually think that was a well done sequence, save for Anakin slaughtering the children.

To me, ROTS is a good movie. It was just tainted by the other prequels. By that time we were so used to tearing them apart that it was just natural to nit pick every fault.

But seriously though. If I find out she is the force user they had sensed, im order a ton of guards to have weapons pointed at her until I return.

Should have had him beginning to force choke that child then draw his light saber.

I agree. There were some painfully bad dialogue scenes in rots, but I still think overall it's a pretty good movie that gets tied in too much to the other two

I say just leave the kids out of it. Maybe that teenager who was killed in front of Bail Organa, but that's it. 20 years is plenty of time for Vader to become a psychotic mass murderer, especially since he is in constant pain and can no longer eat, drink, have sex, or even breathe. All he can now do is kill and....

Eh, the constantly bringing it up bothered me more. I think the act alone was enough. Having characters bring it up over and over again made it more comical.

The part where Rey and Finn had that scene at the end not only matched this scene but surpassed it. It took me a while to remember finn's name, is that racist?

I can never watch the Rey interrogation scene the same after seeing the porn version. Highly recommended for a good laugh.
