Boyega kind of reminds of young Denzel in that trailer.

After her last 2 movies, I'll pretty much see anything she makes until she lays a big turd.

Funny...I wasn't aware Detroit was a Southern city.

Can't wait for it. It's been weeks since Hollywood's told me how horrible white people are. I needed to watch another revisionist history movie keep everyone triggered.

What a miserable person you must be.

Yeah, it's just so hard to believe that in 1967 some white cops fricked over some black people.

Can you link me to where the story told in this movie is "revisionist history"?

Seriously though enough is enough.

The black/white race shite is so played out.

What more could we possibly learn from this movie?

When I saw the title I was hoping it was about Detroit in present day.

More movies about racial strife... yeah. Don't we have enough without bringing up the past?

Pass.

I'm already told that I'm evil everyday by the media and pop culture. I'm all full up.

I don't have any more room to be blamed for the downfall of Detroit.

But the other poster was right...this will win awards...bunches...calling it now.

Based on the directors last 2 movies, it definitely has a good chance...

The way people react you would think every black movie has won every oscar

either that trailer is very misleading or they changed some parts of what happened, bc boydegas character definitely wasnt a innocent bystander of this incident
