Neverending Story II: the next chapter

Well I watched this with the kids today and it was perhaps the worst POS I've ever seen. I honestly estimate the budget for this turd to be about 1500 bucks.
The writing was shite. The casting was shite. The sets were like wizard of Oz level.
It was lifeless. Gutless.laughably bad.
My kids thought it was alright tho So that is cool.

i have the first one on dvd. my brother thought he was giving me a shitty christmas gift one year by giving me that and heavyweights on dvd. he was pretty disappointed when i liked it.
the main thing i remember about part 2 is bastian fighting the weird crab monsters at the end. it would probably really suck if i watched it today. i'll never watch it again so i can remember it being good.

We always used to watch it when ever substitute teachers came. I remember even at a young age I always thought those movies were weird and creepy as hell.
The part about the horse being stuck in the mud or quicksand or whatever the hell it was creeped the hell out of me growing up.

Interesting fact, the actor looking distressed while the horse wasn't sinking into the mud wasn't acting to look distressed. His leg was being crushed by a contraption in the mud pit and I think his leg was broken and they had to shut down production to have it fixed.

Who else watched 1 for their childhood never knowing the name Bastian gives the princess? I always though that was ill timed lightning during a pivot moment. Google cleared that up for me.

Nice attempt but that doesn't make sense.
If the first one was called the definitively ending story your joke would make sense.
