Watching a little bit of it on Spike. My God, this is awful. It feels like I'm watching a low budget Power Ranger movie with cheap effects. Dialogue is terrible and the VFX are laughable. How did it warrant a sequel??

The second film makes the first look amazing.

They're both bad, but the second was far better.

Not a good movie but it was a fun, mindless two hours.

What really bothers me about a movie like this is that it seems they didn't even have a military consultant on staff.

At least get the basics down and then expand from there.

It was terrible. I grew up a huge GI Joe fan they just ruined a great chance at making it a dynasty.

Your own fault for expecting a movie built on CGI to give you a "real" feel to it......You guys have to realize that movies based on comics aren't going to change your life.....Besides red head Rachel Nichols is

Brilliant camp or shitty action movie. I prefer to think the former.

Come on it's a movie about a cartoon designed to sell toys to children.

I'm not sure how a scene of channing tatum having to be restrained from attacking a hologram made it from conception through editing.

has there ever been a scene that just encapsulates the stupidity of the disaster porn era that we're still enduring as much as that one?

Sienna Miller and Joseph Gordon-Levitt both regretted being part of Rise of Cobra. I believe they have said as much in interviews. I was surprised that Miller even accepted a part in the film because she's usually found in arthouse/independent films.

It was so bad, they killed off most of the cast within the first 20 minutes of the sequel!

Gordon-Levitt actually convinced his good friend Channing Tatum to join the film. Clearly he believed in it.
