Netflix: Friday Night Tykes
Posted by BayouBoy44 on 2/17/16 at 1:54 pm01
All I can say is wow! If you haven't seen the series yet it's well worth the watch. Its basically Hard Knocks for 8-11 year old kids in Texas' highest class of youth football. Shows kids work ethic and dedication but after watching made me think about my own kids and possible concussions with them hitting so young. Well worth the watch!!!!!

I watched season one. Lost interest in season two when they didn't bring back the Junior Broncos coach. Easily the most pathetic figure on the show, but a train wreck that I couldn't turn away from.
I did see while flipping this season that the Colts coach is now an assistant on the Outlaws. That doesn't seem fair since he was a hell of a coach and the Outlaws were the top team in that division.

One of my favorite shows ever. And as they say in the show, that's like the best of the best with football at that level. THe coaches and parents take it too far, that's why there are so many injuries.
They teach very little form, and even when they do, it's 9 year olds who don't always listen.
Then you got kids like the Outlaws who are bigger, stronger, faster and just obliterate people.

Guy needs help. He lost his own family over it.

My God was he pathetic!!! He thought those kids no type of fundamental or form that they can build a foundation off of!
His coaching was to holler HIT THEM IN THE HEAD! You Understand!

Yes the Colts coach going there is a big disadvantage. But the Colts had the best player in the state at rb called him TD!! Kid was on another level of speed! Can't wait to see how continues to develop and if he makes noise nationally, he was easily the most impressive player each time he touched the field

Probably because he was suspended for the year for basically telling his kids to head hunt on camera. Retard.
I've only watched season 1. Really liked the Colts coach and the Outlaws one. Same with Predators.
The president of the Junior Rockets seemed like such a dork.

Tadion Lott. He was my favorite player to watch. You're right, his speed was on another level.

Kids should play flag until high school. Learn fundamentals, strength and conditioning, angles and plays. Hitting can come later.
