Just finished season 1. I must say, this show left me wanting more. I loved it. The acting was top notch and the subtitles didn't bother me at all. I cant wait for season 2.

If the guy playing Pablo Escobar doesn't get nominated for an Emmy, there's no justice. He crushed it in that show.

It left me wanting more too because they didn't finish the story.

Right. I really can't see it going beyond a second season. I know there was a period between the time he left jail and when he got dealt with.

Liked them both a lot. Funny thing is, I needed subtitles for both.

Steve Murphy was a cop in my hometown before becoming DEA.

Him and his partner spoke at the local college recently and did a terrific job and were super nice to everyone.

He is the definition of a good ol' baw.

Been binge watching it today. It's very good. I'm on episode 5. Personally I enjoyed watching the rise of the cartel more than what's going on now, but it's still great. Another successful series by Netflix.

I turned it off in the first 5 minutes because of the subtitles. I'm normally doing multiple things while watching tv, which I can't do if I have to read subtitles. Netflix original content continues to be a swing and a miss for me.

That sounds like a YOU problem and not a show problem

One of the best things about the show is they don't act like everyone in another country speaks English to each other

The primary purpose for doing it that way was to attract Hispanic viewers.

While on the topic, I don't understand the binge watching culture. Who has time to watch a full season at once? I like shows being spaced out like they are on traditional tv. It also allows me and my friends a chance to discuss each episode and speculate on what is to come.

Plenty of people have that kind of time. And you don't have to binge watch anything, you can watch it whenever and however you please. That's the beauty of it

I watched most of it doing an episode a night or two with the hour I get after putting the kids to bed and going to sleep.

Leon seems like a killjoy.
