Narcos (Netflix Original) Official Discussion Thread

Anyone heard of this new crime drama on Netflix. It gets released on August 28th. The story will follow notorious Colombian drug kingpin Pablo Escobar. Pedro Pascal from GoT will also be in it.

I know right. The only thing about this show that caught my eye was Pascal. He was good in season 1 of Graceland and he was awesome in GoT.

Seriously, I know its a different structure, but I think you could make a decent argument that over the last 2-3 years Netflix has had more hits than any Network Broadcast,Cable or Premium- OithNB, HoC, Daredevil, Wet Hot, Kimmy, and now this- I mean that's HBO at its best in terms of volume (though none hit peak HBO quality).

Looks great. I don't know when I will catch it with late season baseball and football starting up taking priority for my TV time.

Definitely gonna check this out. Guy that plays Pablo is the guy from Elite Squad I and II. Think he'll be good.

They really have. This year I've been pleasnlty surprised by all of their shows not name House of Cards and Orange is the New Black.
