It is a darn good action film, but it is not a Christmas movie.

Flame on, you winter-hating bitchez.

The Died Hard Christmas meme has been ran into the ground and you're contributing to that.

Action movie that takes place at a certain time of year. Outside of him traveling for that time of year, that time of year does not have any impact of driving the movie or on its overall message. Not a Christmas movie.

However, if a network decides to put it on during the holiday season because of a minor tie-in, like a lemming, I'll watch twenty minutes of it.

I just watched Christmas in Connecticut on TCM. It's no more a Christmas movie than Die Hard. Other than that it's set at Christmas time, Christmas has nothing to do with the story. So if Die Hard isn't a Christmas movie then neither is Christmas in Connecticut.

I'm going to watch it with some Hot Chocolate, my tree lights on and a Christmas sweater on just because of this thread.

Thank you.

#1 Greatest Christmas movie.

It is 100% a Christmas movie and you should be deported for suggesting otherwise

I guess Kiss Kiss Bang Bang is a Christmas movie. And so is Lethal Weapon, In Bruges, Eyes Wide Shut, LA Confedential and Stalag 17! Because all that matters is that they were set around Christmas time!!!

And it was released in the summer.

"Ho, ho ho! Now I have a machine gun!"

"If this what they do at Christmas, I've GOT to be here for New Years!"

Add "Its A Wonderful Life", Christmas setting sort of, but not connection to Christmas otherwise. Had it not been for a clerical error it wouldn't be considered a Christmas movie, or even popular for that matter.
