My Name is Earl Cancelled...

NBC announced that it is going to cancel My Name is Earl so that it may keep Parks and Recreation on the air. Opinions?

Earl had some funny moments but the whole coma scenario was plain stupid. Joy and Crabman were gold. Could have done without Randy.

i thought the first two seasons were very funny but season three, with the coma plot, was a bit disappointing. there were very funny moments but it was not as consistently funny as the first two seasons.
i haven't watched season four at all because i usually wait until the season is over and the DVDs come out.
disappointing to see it go but the quality did slip, at least in the third season.

Man, that's a REALLY tough break for the stars of that show. They had 96 episodes, 4 short of a shot a syndication and all the possible revenue associated with it. I could have definitely that having a long life in reruns. Oh well. Karma really is a beeyotch....

Huh. That's crazy. I thought shows had to have 100 episodes before they could be released in syndication.

Rumors that ABC of Fox may pick this up. Hope so, this last season wasn't bad. Not enough Catalina though.

I've always like My Name is Earl. I watched the first episode of PArks and Recreation with high expectations and was really let down. It's not funny.
