Movies filmed in Laplace

It seems at least once a month there is a filming going on at or near the Airline Motors bldg.
Has anyone seen this place in a movie or know what movies have been filmed there?

Monster's Ball was filmed in LaPlace I think.

Isn't LaPlace that town that's about 30 min north of New Orleans right before you go over that loooooong bridge on I-10?

Definitely NOT North of New Orleans.
Technically it is north, but it is more West of New Orleans.

Yeah, the kid was a local they cast. The fixed up one of the restaurants there on Airline - Airline Motors (I think) to be period correct and left it as an operating business.
I don't know about all of it, but most of it was at Laplace and Angola.

Opening scene of Stallone in Escape Plan was filmed in the parking lot of The Sportsman store on Airline in Norco.

They just filmed some of the new Jack Reacher movie in Laplace a couple of months ago.

Stallone must have liked Louisiana, I remember watching the expendables and seeing that exterior shot by the old State Capitol.

I was an extra in Maggie, the Arnold Zombie movie. It filmed at some older closed hospital off the river near or in LaPlace
and the Bonnie and Clyde flick I was a reporter. TV movie on history or something

Was coming to post Jack Reacher 2, a guy we know has an old mechanic shop and cafe in Laplace, the cafe had been empty for about 20 years, they came in and remolded the cafe and filmed some of the movie there.
