In Gangs of New York when the Rabbits beat McGloin in the church and it just so happens that McGloin falls across a curtain hanging in front of a giant crucifix and tears it down to reveal the presence of God in the most overt showing of symbolism in cinematic history.

Theres a Mythbusters where they tried to replicate that. It was busted.

Cant believe noone posted this.

If you take out this scene and watch the directors cut (the one with the cussing), its not a bad Die Hard movie.

yea, that entire jet scene in Die hard 4 was beyond awful. Even for Die Hard that was just too much bullshite. It made the jet scene in Eraser look realistic.

Commando, were Arnold jumps out of the plane as its taking off. I literally first time I saw that as a kid and still to this day whenever I see that scene.

The bowling pin fight scene (and accompanying sound) from the Matrix Reloaded.

You went from a pretty serious scifi movie in the first film, to kiddie comic book movie in this one scene instantaneously.

You knew the trilogy was fricked at that point.
