I thought last nights episode was better than last weeks with better cooking and less drama. Live crabs started the Mystery Box Challenge where you could see that several contestants had no experience handling the live seafood but the ones that did nailed their dish. One of those that nailed it, was Jesse Romero from Baton Rouge making a Dumpling Crab Soup that all three judges absolutely loved. Jesse then selected who would cook a sweet dish using corn or a savory dish using the same. In the end, Justin, the high school student, failed to make an edible dish and was eliminated.

I wonder what happens to all that food the judges don't taste during the mystery box challenge and do the contestants get to taste their competitions dishes?

That will be one of just a few questions to ask Jesse at the end of the season. It would only seem logical that everyone test or taste the other foods but who knows.

I also wonder about that and also all the unused food (unselected proteins and the like) from the pantry.

That is unfortunate. The food in Master Chef in interesting enough to the point that manufactured drama is not needed.

No one dominates me in fantasy football. Ever. Not even my cheating commissioner who somehow pulls off the most BS trades you can think of. In fact, he tells me every year how good my team is and asks me to draft for him so he can come in second.

Is the new judge mentally handicapped or is she just being fed lines? It seems to be a struggle for her to say an entire sentence without a long pause(s) in the middle.

Sometimes the shite she says just doesn't make any sense either. It's weird.

Hopefully she will hit her stride and get better or it will be a long season for her and the rest of the crew.

What's funny though is that they're editing it the best they can to make he look good, and it still looks weird and stilted. Unless the crew just doesn't like her and is making her look bad.
