The sniper used what had to be a judas bullet - which was itself a nod to The Avengers in Luke Cage. They thought the director was an indestructible inhuman at the time.

I would just like to know if there was anyone watching this episode who was surprised at the reveal that May was asleep for her storyline.

I haven't watched the past couple episodes. I started watching last nights about halfway through. I have absolutely no idea whatsoever what is going on. None. Was the episode just a figment of May's imagination? I are confused.

Not the whole episode. I can see how you'd be confused though.
There is a real May who is being held captive by the LMD's. She tried to escape so they tried to pacify her with a relaxing scenario of a spa in her mind. May being May, that just made her angry and she tried to attack the masseuse.
Then they tried the scenario of her escape attempt and she was much more accepting of that scenario, fighting her way out.
Meanwhile, there is an LMD May who is with SHIELD and just now aware that she is an LMD. She wants to do the right thing but is prohibited by her programming.
There is a real May who is being held captive by the LMD's. She tried to escape so they tried to pacify her with a relaxing scenario of a spa in her mind. May being May, that just made her angry and she tried to attack the masseuse.

Hard to explain....
but there is a LMD Agent May that has taken May's place in Shield.
The dreams of the real agent May are what the scientist is using to keep her sedated and occupied. But the real agent May is fighting to escape her sedation and dreams.

So.. did they capture the guy holding May hostage or did they not? Or is he an LMD and they captured the real one?

They captured his LMD. Fitz figured it out when Nadeera knew their move. They now know that Radcliffe is the mole and he knows that they know.

I was really hoping to see someone from Civil War at that hearing about the Sakovia Accords. You'd think they could get Secretary of State Thunderbolt Ross to have come sit in on the hearing. Not like William Hurt is doing anything right now.
Black Widow would have been a better person but then you have to say something about her seeing Coulson for the first time and that opens a can of worms.

This does continue to bug me. It can't possibly be a secret at this point that the Son of Coul is now alive, but I doubt there will be an acknowledgment from the movie characters in any form. I think it would be funny if on SHIELD it showed Phil opening a note from Tony that says,
"Phil, I see you're alive again. Congratulations on not dying, stop by sometime for a drink. You've missed some great parties at Avengers Tower.
Hugs and kisses, Tony."

I think if they want this show to continue, b/c the ratings have continually gone down, they need to use something from the movies. It can be little things like what you're talking about.
Why can't you get RDJ to come by one day and say something. hell it doesn't even need to be him in person, it could be a recording, or a phone call, just to be a smart arse. That doesn't take him away from filming Infinity Wars.
You would think that Coulson getting caught, on tv, during a senate hearing, would raise questions to certain people, like all of the Avengers, about him being alive. he' stayed out of the spotlight for quite some time now, but he's been outed now, and they should all know, if they didn't already.
Cap could send him a letter in the mail with his blood soaked trading cards and a note saying "i guess you'll want these back, being that your not dead and all. I would have signed them but there was blood everywhere"

Watched the second half of Tuesday's episode. Haven't watched since the Ghost Rider stuff and when that doctor just created the Android. Confused as heck as to what was going on. What does LMD stand for and what's going on with May?

LMD means Life Model Decoy, or the androids in the show. They are programmed to mimic others, sometimes believing them to be the real person. But they are following programming of their creator.

Well LMD May is still infiltrating SHIELD. She is his eyes and ears. But yeah I wouldn't be at all surprised if there were another doing the same. The fact that Simmons was kidnapped by them recently makes me wonder if she is an LMD as well.
